The Digital Detectives: Sorting the Profiles The team met this week to make sure their online "shop windows" were looking sharp. Will and Elaine led the charge, reminding everyone that if your LinkedIn profile looks messy, people won’t bother looking at anything else! They compared it to a digital first impression—it needs to be clear, simple, and work well on a mobile phone.

The To-Do List The group focused on a few tricky technical puzzles:
  • The Profile Polish: Everyone needs to check their "My Most Trusted" (MMT) pages. Elaine pointed out that the "About Me" section has a strict 1,200-character limit, so they might need a bit of help from AI to keep it short and snappy.
  • The Magic Box Mystery: Francois noticed a glitch in the "Magic Box" search tool. It’s supposed to help find people (like CEOs or vegan chefs) instantly, but it’s currently a bit grumpy and only showing one result at a time. Will is looking into a fix.
  • The CRM Connection: Sara is chasing up a link to help all their different contact lists "talk" to each other. It’s like trying to get different game consoles to play the same match—it takes a bit of technical wizardry! Lares are trained to help you

Keep It Simple Elaine explained that most people prefer plain and straightforward communication nowadays because life is already quite stressful. The goal is to be direct and friendly so nobody gets confused.

Homework for the week: Everyone must double-check their profiles to make sure they aren't "ghosts" (profiles without photos). Next week, a sales expert is joining the gang to teach them how to turn these digital profiles into real-world success!
