Reporting To: The Board of Directors and specifically Suzie Harvey but collectively to Shareholders weekly via the Whats App channel.
Overall Purpose: To provide independent strategic oversight and expert guidance to Maltix's operational efficiency, internal connectivity, and key training initiatives. This NED will leverage extensive experience in leading virtual assistant (VA) teams and developing strategic training frameworks. The role is crucial for ensuring that Maltix's internal processes are highly streamlined and supported, that its foundational training programs (like the Maurice T. Watts Training Academy) are strategically aligned, and that the "Maltix Connect" program fosters robust internal linkages and growth, all while ensuring strong collaborative engagement (Internal DIC) and influential, meticulous external representation (External IC).
Key Responsibilities & Contributions:
Strategic Oversight of Virtual Operations & Internal Connectivity:
Provide decisive (D) strategic direction on leveraging virtual assistant (VA) teams, particularly the Lares VA teams, to enhance Maltix's "connective tissue"—its internal processes, communication flows, and operational fluidity.
Guide and influence (I) the development of best practices for remote work, distributed teams, and efficient virtual operations to ensure scalability and consistency across Maltix's global ambitions.
Scrutinise and advise (C) on internal systems and technologies that support seamless collaboration and information sharing, ensuring high standards of efficiency and compliance.
Guidance for the Maurice T. Watts Training Academy:
Collaborate decisively (D) with the Board to shape the strategic vision and curriculum for the Maurice T. Watts Training Academy, ensuring it meets Maltix's long-term talent development and external education needs.
Provide influential (I) oversight on the academy's operational setup and growth plan, drawing on expertise in program development and implementation.
Ensure meticulous (C) attention to detail in the academy's structure, content quality, and accreditation pathways, aligning with global standards.

Strategic Direction for Maltix Connect Training & Growth:
Partner with Elaine Godley and the executive team to strategically influence (I) the growth trajectory of the Maltix Connect program, focusing on its training modules and community building aspects.
Contribute decisively (D) to the integration of strong VA support within Maltix Connect, ensuring it enhances user experience and operational efficiency for program participants and partners.
Advise (C) on the development of scalable training frameworks and content that underpin the growth of Maltix Connect, ensuring quality and effectiveness.
Governance & Independent Challenge:
As an independent director, constructively challenge (D) executive management's strategies and performance related to operational efficiency, internal training, and the strategic use of virtual resources.
Contribute to overall Board discussions on company strategy, risk management, and ethical conduct, particularly in relation to digital operations and training delivery.
Ensure meticulous (C) adherence to governance standards and best practices in all areas of oversight.
Qualifications & Experience:
Extensive senior-level experience in leading large-scale virtual operations, remote teams, or virtual assistant organizations.
Proven track record in strategic training program development, organizational learning, or talent management, ideally within a rapidly growing tech environment.
Strong understanding of internal communications, operational efficiency, and how technology facilitates internal "connective tissue."
Experience with, or strong insight into, digital platforms and global business models.
Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to good corporate governance.
