The purpose of a splash page is to provide visual feedback to the user that the Site is loading and to create a smooth transition from launching the app to displaying the content.
Splash pages often include a logo, brand colors, and a loading indicator to give users an indication that the Phonesite is loading in the background.
Splash screens should encourage registration.
Many larger Companies insist that you register to use their App !
Registration is important for a Site because it allows the app to work offline, send push notifications, be installed on the home screen, sync data in the background, improve performance, work on different devices, and provide an app-like experience.
These features enhance the user experience and make the PSite more accessible and engaging.
