By signing off as a Lares Advocate, you acknowledge and agree to the following provisions under the laws of England and Wales, including compliance with UK GDPR.
1. Scope of Artwork Provision Lares shall provide the pre-print artwork exclusively for Generic and Designer QR codes. This provision is strictly limited to these specific formats. Any additional creative assets, bespoke branding, or modifications outside of these two categories fall outside the scope of this agreement and remain the responsibility of the Advocate or the respective third-party suppliers.
2. Independence of Third-Party Providers Upon the signing of the Pre-Merchandise Agreement, Maltix ceases to have any operational or legal responsibility for the direct working relationships between the following parties:
- The NFC and ICE provision supplied by Aurora eCards.
- Approved Merchandise Printers responsible for the creation and physical distribution of goods.
3. Data Protection and UK GDPR All parties are expected to handle personal data in strict accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
- Data Controllers: Aurora eCards and the approved printers act as independent Data Controllers for the information they require to fulfil their specific obligations.
- Liability: Maltix shall not be held responsible for any data breaches or non-compliance occurring within the systems or processes of these independent third parties.
- The technical integration or uptime of Aurora eCards' NFC/ICE provisions.
- The quality, accuracy, or delivery timelines of the approved merchandise printers.
- Any contractual disputes arising between the Advocate and these suppliers.
If a formal dispute arises where Maltix’s facilitation is called into question, Maltix maintains a dedicated Arbitration Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). To initiate this process, a formal request must be submitted via email to: admin@maltix.co.uk.
6. Governing Law These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal proceedings relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
