1. Professional Commitment Lares VA provides high-quality virtual assistance. This policy ensures fair and transparent procedures compliant with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. All transactions and refunds are processed exclusively through Maltix accounts.
2. Statutory 14-Day Cooling-Off Period For new distance-based service agreements, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 calendar days of the agreement date.
- Notice: Cancellation must be submitted in writing via email.
- Pro-Rata Charges: If you requested services to begin during this period, you are liable for the cost of work completed up to the cancellation point.
- Exclusion: The right to cancel is lost once services have been fully performed with your express consent.
- Monthly Retainers: Requires 30 calendar days' written notice before the next billing cycle. Fees already paid are non-refundable, and services continue until the notice period expires.
- Project-Based Work: Cancellation requires written notice. You will be invoiced for all work completed at the agreed rate. Deposits are non-refundable as they cover initial resource allocation and setup.
- Repeat Performance: If a service is substandard, notify us in writing within 7 days. We will first attempt to rectify the issue at no additional cost.
- Price Reduction: If rectification is impossible or delayed, a partial or full refund for the specific substandard element may be issued.
- Exclusions: Refunds are not granted for changes of mind or subjective preferences once the service meets professional standards.
- Timeline: Approved refunds are processed within 14 calendar days to the original Maltix payment method.
- Third-Party Expenses: Any out-of-pocket costs incurred on your behalf (e.g., software, specialist fees, or imagery) are strictly non-refundable.
- Non-payment or breach of terms.
- Abusive or inappropriate behaviour.
In these instances, no refunds will be provided for services rendered.
